We would like to thank everyone for their prayers. Brody Lane Simnacher was born Dec. 2, 8lbs 4oz. and he was 21in long. Everyone is doing great and are healthy. We can't wait to introduce him to our church family.

Please pray for Ruth Marion and her family. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and has started chemo treatments. She will have treatments once a month for at least a year. Please pray for strength for her and her family and healing.

Prayer for the Donna Pressley family (Tommy Armstrong's sister). Please pray for strength and peace during this holiday season. Her husband, Tommy Pressley, passed away unexpectedly this morning because of a blood clog in his lung. Her brother also passed away in October. Please remember her and her family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Pray for safe travel and answers

Gerald's total knee has been postponed. He failed the Thallium Stress Test last Wednesday! His Cardiologist saw something he didn't like. He called this afternoon with the following news. Leave in the morning for San Antonio VA. We have to be there around 1 PM @ admissions. The angiogram will be the next day...we think, after talking with Admissions in San Antonio. We aren't sure of anything else on the agenda. We'll see when we get there! We plan to have a good Thanksgiving where ever we are! (The plan was to eat with Kent & family.) Hopefully we will be back for that. Please pray for our travel safety and the procedure. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much Turkey! May God Bless You.

Praise the Lord!!

Dusty is doing better and should make a full recovery. If her therapist says that it is okay, she might be released today. Please keep her in your prayers, now that she is going to have to learn how to live differently on a day to day basis. She will have to have insulin shots daily – they are teaching her how to do it today. Thank you and God Bless.

My sister-in-law’s niece, Dusty was just rushed to Amarillo. Dusty is a little 9 year old girl. She is in diabetic shock and is not doing well. Her parents and her Dr. did not know she had juvenile diabetes until today when she went into shock. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. Thanks and God Bless -Iris McDonald

Kathy Howe, Pastor Jerry Howe's wife has been diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer. She is scheduled to have surgery on November 20th at 3:00pm at BSA. Please pray for her and her family.

Mary Lou Armstrong and Larry Pirkle's great-nephew, Taylor Obenhaus lives in Vega. He is 7 years old and is having his second aeorta heart surgery today. Please pray forthe doctor and the family.

Just wanted to ask for you to lift up in prayer, Gerald's brother, Jimmie Hunt. He and his wife, Gerry, went to Michigan last week to visit his daughter, Shawnda & family. A couple of days ago we got word that Jimmie fell and sat on his ankle, breaking it in 3 places and dislocating his ankle joint. He had to have it repaired at 10 AM, Texas time Nov. 3rd. He will have to stay off it for 2 months. Luckily at the hospital there, they have an on staff Orthopedic Surgeon that specializes in ankles. They will fly back to Post as soon as he is able to fly. My sister, Norma, had surgery on her right shoulder the 26th of October. She is doing very well. Today I talked with her and her pain only got up to a 2. The only other time she was in the hospital was when she had her 3 girls!!!! Unbelievable!! If all goes well, Gerald will have his total knee replacement Nov 30. He has to have a chemical stress test before the cardiologist OK's the surgery. Our son Kent Stephens will have surgery on his right knee around the 18th of December. Thank you for your prayers. I know prayers work because a year ago the circulation in Gerald's legs was 50%...now it is 75%!!!

Prayer for Healing

Prayer request for Gary and Cindy Hogman by way of Faith Presbyterian Church. Gary is serving in Iraq while his young wife is fighting cancer here. Here is his story: My name is Gary Hogman. Some of you receiving this know me, some do not. My wife, Cindy, is 32 years old and has just been diagnosed with stage 4 Cervical cancer. Her chances for survival are very slim. She was pregnant with our second child and had miscarried recently at 3 Months.

Pray for strength and healing

Please be in Prayer for Al and Deb McNeely. Al has been diagnosed with Polymyositis and he is unable to sit up, stand, or walk on his own. He is bedrest at this time. He is in BSA room 587. This is his 23rd day in 3 hospitals. Tuesday, October 20th he will have surgery to place an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). He cannot have company that is not totally healthy because of his inability to fight germs. He has gone from 230 pounds last Christmas to 173 pounds. Deb is working at CBC as much as possible.

Donna Thompson, wife of Dan Thompson (director of Panhandle Singing Men) has been told that her breast cancer may be back and may have spread to her liver. Please be praying for them and the doctors.

We just got word that the grandson of our former pastor was killed in an auto accident yesterday. Luke Onley was a new dad, just two weeks ago, and also has a little girl who is one year old. Luke and his wife were going to be missionaries to England. He was a great young man and will be sorely missed.

Julie Gutierrez from Green Acres - her son JJ Gutierrez was in a wreck in Amarillo last night. He's in ICU at Northwest Texas with head injuries - swelling of the brain and he is in a coma. He also has a broken pelvis and bruised lungs as well, but they are watching the head for now.

Lise Vitz. Is very critical. All the boys have been called home and things are possibly coming to an end for her here on earth. Please continue your prayers as God is sustaining us.

Cortney and Tye have a new baby girl (Catie Jaimes Womble) and Charlotte and Miles Mixon have a new baby girl (Abbie Hope). Praise God for children! Pray for these two precious families!

Pray for safety and strength

Our nephew, Charlie, left Wednesday, September 30th for Afghanistan. This is his second duty - the first was in Kuwait.
He is a single parent and leaves two small children, under age 5, at home with their grandmother.
Please pray for God's protection over him and for his family unit to be strong and reminded of God's love.

Charles is my cousin in Snyder, Texas. Darby and the parents and all the family need our prayers. Thank you so much. For you who know Aunt Bettye, please continue to remember her. Please be in prayer for Al and Debra McNeely of Dumas. Al works for Xcel. He had knee surgery a few months ago. While recovering at home, he became very ill with what they thought was a heart attack. When rushed to Amarillo it was determined that it was not a heart attack. He has been in BSA ICU since then. Deb has been driving back and forth and trying to work (secretary at Calvery Baptist). He needs your prayers for healing. She needs your prayers for strength.
