Please be in prayer for Gary Griffith and the Sam Aldrich family. Gary is married to Stephanie Aldrich. Gary was in a roll over accident. He laid out in the cold until a farmer found him. He has several broken bones and had surgery to remove a large blood clot. He is in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. His condition is critical. The Sam Aldrich family needs prayers for strength and comfort. The will be in Amarillo with Gary.

A friend of mine needs prayer her name is Billie Pierson. Her boyfriend John, has cancer and it has spread to his liver. The doctors have told her that one of his disk in his spine has exploded due to the cancer. One wrong move and his spinal cord could be severed. Her daughter, a single mom of three, has brain tumors. They are waiting for the right time to do surgery. Billie has Glaucoma and is having trouble seeing. She was going to get it taken care of but with all this hitting her at once she had to put off her problems to take care of loved ones. Billie is a believer. She is putting all this in the hands of The Lord. God can work miracles, nothing is too big for our God. When we think we have troubles we can always look around and see others that are having more trouble than we are having. Please pray for these folks.

Ray Thornton (age 84) brother of Oleta T. Smith - had several heart bypasses a couple of days ago at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Please pray for him and the family.

Please be in prayer for Mrs. Glenna Reed and her family. Mrs. Reed is 81 years old and weighs 94 pounds. She had surgery last week to remove a cancerous tumor in the neck. She had to have an emergency trach done on Fridayand is getting another trach today. She is mentally strong. Her family is friends with me.

Our mother, Juanell Brooks was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer on December 22, 2010. She has elected to take no treatment. Please lift our mom and dad and family in prayer. She is a very dear and special mom, friend, wife and gigi with faith and trust in her Lord. We do not know what the future has for her and us, but we know that it is God’s plan and in his hands. Please remember her and pray for strength and courage for everyone involved. God Bless each of you and thank you for being the church families that we always need in time of special requests.

Prayers Warriors Unite

Need major prayers for the Gomez family. Eric and Brie Gomez and their 2 girls were in a head on collision tonight (12/26/10) right outside Dalhart. The girls were said to be ok, info about Dad wasn't readily available, and Brie was being rushed to surgery with Severe Head Trauma. She is also 8 months pregnant. I will post more info as it is known, but please be in prayer for this family. I am not sure what she does, but he is a coach at Amarillo High School.

Prayer Warriors Unite!

My Brother-in-Law's Brother and his wife, Brandon and Jessica Fagan, were in a MAJOR car accident on Dec 21st. She broke her leg, hip, and wrist and he has at least 10 broken bones in his face. Since then, they have already re-constructed his eye socket and also learned that he broke his knee cap as well.
They are both expected to be in the hospital for at least a month for rehabilitation and surgeries. They have 3 Girls between the ages of 7-15.
There are deeper problems in this marriage on top of all this, they really need our prayers.

Jenny Everson asked that we lift Jimmy Everson's niece, Amanda Santos, up in special prayer. When she went to get a toothache checked, they discovered, after some significant test, that she has cancer of her tongue. Amanda is in her 40's w/ a son. She is a teacher and has been devastated by this news. The doctors can not operate, but did remove some of her teeth. Now she will be going through radiation followed by the chemo treatments. Please lift up Amanda and her family in your daily prayers.
