Please pray for Richard's baby sister. We just found out today that she has stage 4 stomach cancer and was taken to Amarillo this morning. All they can do is chemo. Her name is Ellen Schollenbarger and lives in Dumas. She lost her husband little over a year ago with cancer. Thank you so much for the prayers for my brother. He is cancer free, and we are praising God for this miracle. The doctors say it will come back in 6 months or 6 years. We pray it does not.
Keep me in your prayers. I hope to get the surgery on my knee next month. I do not get out much because it hurts so much to walk.
I love this church and God has really blessed us as a church with Bro. Jerry. Church pray for him as he leads this church family.

Pray for God's will to be done!!

My sister called last night and told us that her husband Juan has his imigration hearing today at 11:00 in Boise, ID (that's 10:00 our time). The judge may decide to send him back to Mexico right then and there. And on top of it all, my sister found out Sat that they are expecting. This is all very overwhelming, and they don't know what there next turn is. They are asking for prayer, and I thank you all for praying for them. God's will is perfect, now we just have to find out what his will is.

Colene McAvoy has been taken by ambulance to BSA in Amarillo. She has internal bleeding which they haven't been able to locate. Please remember the doctors and Colene and family.

Arlene Bittner Maxwell, a friend of Claud & Ramona Cooksey has been diagnosed with MS. Please pray for her and her doctors as they treat this illness.

Update on Ed's Mom and Zeke

Ed's Mom is much better. We are waiting for results from the doctor's tests.

Zeke came through the MRI with no problems. He has been diagnosed with Partial Complex Seizure Disorder. This can be controlled with medication and some careful handling. He should outgrow this in 3-5 years. The doctors say he is healthy, intelligent and a bit on the ornery side - something we already knew but were blessed to hear.

Pray for strength and answers

Ed's Mom has been transferred from the Buffalo hospital to a hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. She will be having a MRI to determine if cancer has spread to her brain.

During a recent family vacation, Zeke, our three year old grandson had a seizure. He will be having a MRI Friday morning and there is some concern about this as he must be asleep to do so.

Please continue to pray for Lise’ Vitz. She is having more complications and is losing the sight in her right eye and having problems with her right side, which has been her good side. They feel the cancer is growing again. She had good news from Anthony her youngest son in the Air Force and he recently got transferred to Georgia. Moved next door to a retired Air Force Couple, got invited and went to Southern Baptist church with them and Laura his wife was saved, and they were both baptized, and now we hear they are expecting, Lise’s first Grandbaby. Has sure picked up Lise’s spirits. God IS Good and we are so thankful. See your prayers are working and please keep it up. Thank you so much.

I have two people that need our prayers, one is Darla who lives in Dalhart. She had a tumor removed from her ear and it was malignant. She is in her late thirties. The other person that needs our prayers is Margaret Louis Hunt of Dumas. She goes to see her oncologist this week. Please be in prayer for these two ladies. By the way thanks for all your prayers for my knee replacement surgery. It has been three weeks today and I am already walking on a cane instead of the walker. God is so good. When we come together in prayer with God's help we can move mountains. Keep praying for Bro. Jerry. He is doing a wonderful job.

Pray for Adam Crownover family

Adam Crownover passed away this afternoon. Please pray for God's strength and peace for his family during this tough time.

Adam Crownover was in a 4-wheeler accident on July 4th. He is in stable but critical condition in Amarillo. He has no internal injuries, but they are worried about head trauma and pressure on the brain.

Denny Weatherford is awaiting results of a bone marrow biopsy and bone scan. Please pray for Denny and Sisie and their family as they get these test results.

God Bless each of you with your prayers, calls, cards and kind words. My surgery was very successful and within 3 months I should be totally healed and pain free as possible. I feel very blessed to have a church family that is caring and I thank you for always being there when anyone is in need.

Monday, July 6th, I will be having my left knee replaced. Please be in prayer for my doctor Dr. Brendan Albracht, and all the staff at Panhandle Surgery. Please pray for my family for strength as they go through the waiting. And pray for me, I have stood the pain as long as I think I can. I am ready to be pain free and be able to walk pain free. Kevin Upchurch, son-in-law of Harold & Jo Nan Miller, was recently in a one truck roll over. He is suffering from head and neck injuries. Tests are being run and he may possibly have to have surgery and may have a bulging disc. Please pray for this family. His wife's name is Stacy and they have one son.
