Please pray for Dolly Burns (Sweet), She went to Branson MO. to visit family and she is in the hospital in very bad shape.  Her daughter Terri Dearmond just called me and said her mom is in a coma and she is having seizures.  The doctors have told Terri they don't know what is going on.  But we know a healer that can take care of ALL problems if it is HIS will, it will be done if we ask.  Please pray for the family too, as they are away from home and concerned for their Mom.  She is in the hospital in Joplin.  Dolly is a member of Temple Baptist here in Dumas.

Update on Kenedi Groves

Kenedi Groves had surgery today to replace her heart with a mechanical heart.  The next 12 hours are crucial.  Please pray for Kenedi to have strength and for the family to feel the Lord holding them up through this difficult time.  Our God is healer and awesome in powers!

Update on Kenedi Groves and Prayers are NEEDED!!

Kenedi and her family have met with her team of doctors and they agree that Kenedi's body is no longer responding to medication and they will put in a mechanical heart on Monday, October 1. This is a very high risk procedure and with this she will continue to be on the transplant list.  Best case scenario would be a heart to come through in the next 2 days to prevent this surgery.  Please pray for a miracle and for strength for the family.  Thanks!!!

Kenedi Groves

Please prayer for Kenedi Groves (6 years old), Rob Groves and Kelli Kennedy's daughter.  She is in the hospital in Dallas with serious heart conditon. They are giving her medicine to make her heart strong enough to handle a heart cath which will be done on Monday. The results of the heart cath will determine whether or not she will be placed on the heart transplant list. They have met the 
people on the transplant team. Kelli wanted to thank you all for your 
prayers and thoughts during these days.

Update on the Larson Seagler!

Praise the Lord!  Larson Seagler had surgery a little bit ago and the problem was fixed and they expect him to make a full recovery.  Please continue to pray for him and his family as he heals.  We serve an awesome God!  Thanks for the prayers.  I know the Seagler's truly appreciate them.

UPDATE ON PRAYER REQUEST

Bridgett and Troy Plemmons are my neighbors that I had requested prayer for before. She is still in Lubbock on life support and just went through a 4th surgery this morning. The doctors were still saying that hopefully she would heal on her own, but she hasn't yet.

Troy's parents are here to help care for the boys. This family is still need desperate need of prayer for healing, comfort, and peace that only Our Father can provide!
I will update if we get any needs of the family.

I was able to tell Troy's mom that the whole family is on our prayer chain and she was VERY thankful for that! So thank you church!

Prayer Please

Our neighbor had gastric bypass on Monday. After she went home, she had to be rushed back to the hospital in Lubbock where the doctors determined the surgeron had cut her bowl duct and the toxins had leaked into her body. They induced a coma to allow her relief from pain and to heal, they thought she would be fine. But, when they tried to take her off the ventilator, she couldn't breathe on her own and now her kidney's are shutting down. They aren't sure she is going to make it. She is married with 2 young boys. Please pray for healing for her!

Several in our community need prayer (sent 3/16/2012)

First, please pray for Kathy Bagbee. She works at the Dumas hospital. She was in a car wreck, Monday in Amarillo. She thinks her car was totaled. She is shook up, naturally, but the Lord was watching over her she is not too physically hurt. This will be a financial blow for her. So please pray for health and a way for her to replace her car.

Second, please pray for Darrell and Lois Hayes. Lois' son Phil Eudy had to have his foot amputated this last week due to complications from Diabetes. He was brought from Amarillo to Dumas and he has complications. His heart stopped four times Wednesday night and he is in a coma. They have taken him back to BSA in Amarillo. Lois lost a son two years ago and this is really hard for her. Please pray for this family.

My son, Brent, and his family were hit in a head-on
collision Christmas Day. (Two cars were in a road-rage race and my son had no
chance to react...did not see it coming.) Everyone is improving and okay
except Jacey Jo, my twelve year old granddaughter. She was in critical
condition. She has multiple skull fractures, blood clot on the
brain, broken neck and severe spinal cord injuries. It has been devastating.

Healing and Comfort

Lorren Coffin of Dumas needs prayer they have found a tumor in his spine at L5 in a bundle of nerves Dr. Errington will do surgery Jan. 23rd to see if he can remove this tumor and to see if it is benign. Natasha his wife is pregnant with their second child, Hunter, she is hoping and praying Lorren is lots better before that happening happens.

Friday I got a phone call from my cousin, that my ninety one year old aunt over at Spearman had congestive heart failure. Please pray for Ruby Riley and that she don't suffer in her journey home to meet her God. I drove to Spearman yesterday and sit around the hospital then drove home last night and today I can hardly stand. Dr. Errington will do my surgery the 25 th . Thank you for all the prayers and please continue to lift me up I can feel them daily.

Thelma is home she spent the night in NWTH and came home. But keep her in our prayers. Also Pete (Jessie) Etheredge had a light stroke Thursday night and spent the night in the hospital he came home Saturday (today). This is Barbara Mulanax Dad. So please pray for the Etheredge's also. Darrell and Lois Hayes need prayer. Lois fell. Landed on her tailbone. She can hardly move. Darrell was working out at his shop and something slipped and cut the end of his finger off. Darrell, for those who know him, is like that Energizer bunny, he just keeps going and going and.......but he is just getting to the point that he is going to have to realize that he can't. She went to the doctor thinking she had pneumonia and after test, after test, after test, she was told she had cancer all over her body. She goes Monday to see if it is in her brain. A couple of months ago I asked for prayer for a teenager named Josh Walton from Dalhart. His parents work at FBC Dalhart and they are in need of our prayers again. Josh was airlifted to the hospital in Amarillo and the doctors are considering airlifting him to Houston. Josh has Pneumonia and his lungs are filling up with fluid. He is stable right now, but still very critical. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, strength for the family and healing for Josh.

Please pray for my sister in law, Leigha Foote. She has been dealing with what doctors think is a virus that could last 6 to 8 weeks. With this virus she has been throwing up and very dizzy. She has also experienced some hearing loss along with this. She seemed to be getting better, but last week the dizziness got worse and she started throwing up again and hearing loss is worse. She goes for an MRI on Thursday and a ENG, which will test the inner ear and brain on Friday. They are also new parents. Please pray for her and my brother as they deal with everything. They are so ready to have some answers.

Eugene has a mass on his brain and one on the kidney. They believe the brain tumor is most likely an aggressive cancer so they are focusing on dealing with that first. The one on the kidney appears to be slow moving.

Eugene is scheduled for a biopsy on the brain tumor tomorrow (Friday, May 27) afternoon at 2pm. If they get in there and believe the tumor will respond to radiation/chemo, then they will treat him that way. If for some reason it's a type of cancer that won't respond to treatment, they will attempt to remove it. The surgery is risky, but we have God on our side and are trusting Him to bring Eugene through the surgery without any problems.

Anthony Villa, Anthony's mother and other members of his family was involved in a house fire during the night last night. The mother did not make it out of the fire and Anthony was air lifted to Lubbock. We just got word that he has also passed away. Please pray for the Villa family and so many others that were close to them.

Trina Simnacher asks for prayers for her life long best friend's mom, Charlie. Charlie had a hole in her colon and was admitted into the hospital and given antibiotics to help heal her. Her daughter Chrissy is a Christian, however her mother is not. Chrissy is very concerned about her mother finding a relationship with God. This last medical scare brought that fear to full view. Please keep Charlie in your prayers for continual healing, and for her to allow God into her life. Please lift up my cousin, Sally Habib, in your prayers. She fell at home Jan. 31 and broke her shoulder in three places. After having to wait a week for surgery, she had to have reconstructive surgery to replace part of the shoulder joint, and may not be able to continue her work as a dental assistant. Word has been received that Randy Welch of Garland, Texas in in the hospital in ICU. Randy, a 1967 graduate from Dumas High School, is believed to have suffered a stroke but results are inconclusive. My mom, Juanell Brooks was admitted to Hospice on February 9^th in Amarillo. We as a family have shared so many blessings together during this time, however, please lift her in prayer as we pray for her to have no pain and suffering. A friend of mine needs prayer her name is Billie Pierson. Her boyfriend John, has cancer and it has spread to his liver. The doctors have told her that one of his disk in his spine has exploded due to the cancer. One wrong move and his spinal cord could be severed. Her daughter, a single mom of three, has brain tumors. They are waiting for the right time to do surgery. Billie has Glaucoma and is having trouble seeing. She was going to get it taken care of but with all this hitting her at once she had to put off her problems to take care of loved ones. Billie is a believer. She is putting all this in the hands of The Lord. God can work miracles, nothing is too big for our God. When we think we have troubles we can always look around and see others that are having more trouble than we are having. Please pray for these folks.

Need major prayers for the Gomez family. Eric and Brie Gomez and their 2 girls were in a head on collision tonight (12/26/10) right outside Dalhart. The girls were said to be ok, info about Dad wasn't readily available, and Brie was being rushed to surgery with Severe Head Trauma. She is also 8 months pregnant. I will post more info as it is known, but please be in prayer for this family. I am not sure what she does, but he is a coach at Amarillo High School.

My Brother-in-Law's Brother and his wife, Brandon and Jessica Fagan, were in a MAJOR car accident on Dec 21st. She broke her leg, hip, and wrist and he has at least 10 broken bones in his face. Since then, they have already re-constructed his eye socket and also learned that he broke his knee cap as well.
They are both expected to be in the hospital for at least a month for rehabilitation and surgeries. They have 3 Girls between the ages of 7-15.
There are deeper problems in this marriage on top of all this, they really need our prayers.

Jenny Everson asked that we lift Jimmy Everson's niece, Amanda Santos, up in special prayer. When she went to get a toothache checked, they discovered, after some significant test, that she has cancer of her tongue. Amanda is in her 40's w/ a son. She is a teacher and has been devastated by this news. The doctors can not operate, but did remove some of her teeth. Now she will be going through radiation followed by the chemo treatments. Please lift up Amanda and her family in your daily prayers.

My sister-in-law said that Adam was doing better. Off the vent and moved to a regular room. He still can't talk much and they say will need lots of rehab after he gets medically stable. Thank you for your prayers.

Pray for a miracle!!!!

Please pray for my sister-in-laws nephew, Adam Smith. He is 16 years old and had a stroke 2 days ago. He collapsed while on the football field. They airlifted him to Cooks childrens hospital in Ft Worth yesterday and he is progressively getting worse. The swelling on his brain has continued.They have told the family that if he makes it through the next 48 hours it will be a miracle. If he does then they will possibly do surgery and take out the swollen area of the brain to allow for healing. Please just pray for this whole family. Pray for no more swelling, damage, and deficit from the stroke.

Update on Robertson baby

I just got a phone call from a friend, Mrs. Juanita Robertson, asking that we prayer for her first Great Granddaughter. The baby was born this past Sunday, she was born one month early, and she has a blockage in her digestive system. They are running test now to determine where the blockage is, and then they will do surgery. Please pray for Kate Robertson, and the doctors, pray also for the parents so they can have assurance that God is wonderful, good, strong, and can heal this baby. Thanks.

Roxy Trick was born 2 1/2 months early on Sept. 15th. She is in Cook's Children hospital in Ft Worth. Her lungs are not developed enough for her to breath on her own. She is on a vent. She has a long way to go. Roxy is the Great grand daughter of Corinne & Harlan Getman. Please pray for Roxy, her parents, and the doctors and nurses taking care of her.

Please pray for strength

Al was dismissed from Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon.

He is much weaker than he was when dismissed from BSA in January of 2010 and not able to do as much to assist in his care.

He was in BSA from August 2-16 and Memorial Hospital for the balance of his stay until September 23 for a total of 53 days.

September 23 marked the one year anniversary date of the last time Al walked.

Please pray for answers!

Dianna Cartwright will check into the hospital in Lubbock on Monday morning, September 27th to under go a multitude of test. She is on the list for a kidney transplant and these test must be done to see if she can withstand the transplant (when the time comes).

Praise The Lord for Gene Testerman

The doctor told Sue that Gene was improved so much that he would probably go home on Thursday or Friday. They think his cancer is in remission and his double pneumonia is almost cleared up. PTL

Gene Testerman is now in the Memorial Hospital with pneumonia once again. Sue has asked for prayer for Gene to have some comfort and relief. He also suffers with lung cancer. He is in room #129. He is having a tough time breathing, so please remember to prayer that he begin to have peace and comfort.

Maverick Crawford, son of Ryan Crawford (New ESL DISD teacher at morningside) has Nuro Blastoma, a cancerous tumor on the adrenal glands. They will be doing surgery on him at 9:00 a.m. Monday at BSA. He is in the Pediatric ICU room #1. He is less than a month old. Ryan and family appreciate our prayers.
