Juanita Cato has just found out she has a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. She will have surgery tomorrow, July 14th to see if it can be removed. Please pray for her, her family and the doctors who will be working on her.

New request from Kay Jones - Her brother-in-law, Glen Miller, has an agressive cancer. Had the lazer treatment to no avail. Will now begin chemo and see if that does anything. He is Kays' sister's husband. Please pray for healing and peace through God.

A friend of mine in Amarillo has a 9 month old baby boy, Jimmy, who went into surgery this morning. He only weighs a little over 10 lbs. and the doctors cannot figure out why he wouldn't gain any weight. They have been dealing with this ever since he was born and now the doctors are doing some sort of surgery to help with the problem. David went to his doctor in Lubbock today and didn't get such good news. He has been a severe asthma sufferer for his entire life, but it has just in the last 3 or so years gotten a lot worse. He and Matthew both see the same allergy doc in Lubbock who has been working on trying to get David better since December of 2008. Today, the doctor informed him that he has what is called Paradoxical Langospasm. Basically they don't know what causes the disease, but there isn’t' a cure and the medication to control is just kind of trial and error. Some people react to one thing and some to others. He is on 8 different medications currently to control the asthma and allergies, and the doctor added one more today saying that if it doesn't work, that he will just have to have breathing treatments every 4-6 hours, in-definitely, plus continue his current regiment of medications. There are a lot of things we need to change about our daily lives to help control this, but he is still sick, and the doctor says he won't really go away either . Please pray for healing from the ULTIMATE HEALER. We know he can do all things, we just need to ask. I ask that you please say that prayer for David as we try to make this less difficult on him. Thank you for your prayers for my wife, Juana James, Juana came through the surgery (right knee replacement) just fine. She is still in a lot of pain and discomfort of course, so I ask you to keep her in your prayers. She is supposed to get to come home towards the end of this week. Also, I have a friend, Phaedra Medlock who has heart problems. Phaedra is a veteran, she is waiting for a heart. I know that with prayer God can fix the heart she has. Praise God. Also, please remember me in your prayers, week before last I had a glimpse of life without back pain, the doctors put a stimulator in my spine and it was a test to see if it would work before the insurance company would approve it. It worked just fine, so when Juana gets back to driving again they will install it permanently so I want be in pain when I walk. Thank you in advance. To God be the Glory.

Callie Marshall, the daughter of Clayton and Shelly Marshall, grand daughter of Victor Marshall and niece of D'Anne Venable, needs our continued pray. She is 13 years old and a couple of weeks ago she was put in the hospital with Pancreatitis. She has since gotten to go home, but still needs our prayers. Other issues she has to deal with are heart problem, diabetic, kidneys and she was born blind. Please keep this family in your constant prayers.

My best friend's brother in law is stationed in Afganistan and was in a bombing attack at Bagram Air Base in Afganistan. One was killed.They are asking for prayer for his safety and for the family. My friend just found out that her brother in-law is safe! Praise God!!! But we still must pray for those who's loved ones were injured or killed. God's peace can calm the most hurting heart. Prayer for Sandra Tebeest

Please continue praying for Sandra TeBeest, who is Buddy Trent's sister. She has Ovarian cancer. She had her first chemo treatment on Friday. She was so bad on Friday a.m. that the doctors weren't sure they could give her chemo, but after many of the family and friends praying, she improved so much that she was given chemo on Friday afternoon. Praise the Lord!
She is resting at home in Gruver. She feels much better, but she is having some pain and is very tired. She will need two more treatments before the drs. will perform surgery. Please continue praying for this sweet lady.

Please pray for guidance and peace

My cousin and his wife are expecting their 2nd child and she was just laid off of her job, and she is the one carrying the insurance. Also he was laid off last year, and has been staying home with their oldest boy, because of the cost of child care, it just seemed to make sense. But now they are both out of work, and he is very stressed and discouraged. He is a christian, but he isn't very active.

Please pray for a miracle!!

My friend in Arizona asked if we could place the unborn baby of a family in her church on our prayer chain. She is 22wks pregnant, his name is William, and the sonogram showed that he has spina bifida of the entire lumbar spine, part of the thoracic spine, and has swelling of the left lobe of his brain. The Dr.'s said that at 26wks, they could possibly do surgery, but the Dr.'s are not hopeful. They believe that God can heal their baby, and are asking for our prayers. Tyler Catherall, the grandson of Mary Catherall, is a 2nd grader at Morningside Elementary. He became very ill this week and was transported to Dallas Children's Hospital last night with acute liver failure. Please be in prayer for this young man and his family.

Update on my uncle!

Please continue to pray for my uncle, Karl Vaughn. They thought he had pneumonia and they put him in the hospital to found out he had 2 blood clots. He is in so much pain with his back and now he is not going to be able to have the surgery he needs for his back for at least 6 months because he will be on blood thinner. Please pray for relief from the back pain and a miracle. He is very discouraged right now.

Update on Gerald

Gerald ( Benny) has been doing well after all his angiograms and 2 stints in his heart. Last month he had an angiogram on his legs and the arteries were 100% blocked. He is to go in the 8th of April to have bypasses done. He'll be in the hospital at least 5 days. I don't know how much down time there will be after he gets home. Then he should be all set to have his left knee replaced. Yea! After 5 years waiting!!
I am also going to be having some appointments in the next week. Please pray we get answers with my appointments and continue to pray for Gerald.

Pray for comfort for a family and community

A third grade teacher at Sunray, Kendra Sotelo, and her three children were in a car accident on their way home yesterday evening (March 30). Kendra and two of her children were killed. They live in Stinnett. The children's names are 2nd grader-Aliya. who was involved in the accident, but not doing well, and 4th graders- Audrey and Marcos. She has a husband and one son along with Aliya still living. Please pray for her family and the community of Sunray. They just buried a high school student a week ago. God has a plan even thoug its so hard to see it when young people lose their lives.
